when they come into stock, ill see what i can do. But dont no one be expecting me to build shit!!
Well Dale a dyno would defeintely be cool to test on - should really get a few cars up there to play with it too! Anthony im sure will voulunteer for that, as would a couple of other people. Some good test would certainly improve my sales
As for smoking 12V regulators.... you have to be careful NOT TO EARTH the case (metal back and tab) of it... they have to be insulated. Otherwise they go smokey!

You mean every manufacture that bolts the tab of a 7805 regulator to common ground has it wrong? Just like the regulators in Toyota ECUs?
Damm, you should inform them about this

Hey Witzl so I would be safe to buy KC5386 and start building that?

I have a feeling the complete write up for the kit was in silicon chip a few months back. Dont remember any details, but I do remember discussing it with someone in detail...

THE WITZL wrote on Tue, 06 July 2004 17:59 | oops! i was thinking LM317, not the 78L12... DUMBASS
Just found out.. ill have the prototype boards in a couple of weeks and will be building them just after that (this is all of those new high performance automotive kits), so some testing etc is required of course!
I really cant tell if it's PWM yet - all i have is the materials list, and i can say it uses a 16F628, so ill find out later! From what i can tell though, PWM looks likely, especially when there is talk of duty cycle adjustments
Dont forget guys, you will also need this kit to program the bastard:
KC5386
Dale - what sort of solenoids are you looking at using?
Link to the boost controller kit: KC5387

i can get either the turbosmart MAC valve or a SMC valve, both are norammly closed 12v valves with 3 ports, this way they can be used with either internal gates or external gates by swapping over a few wires.
