Hey all
The media strike again
Some time this week on Today tonight (Ch 7) there's another segment on "Car Hoons"
Looked rather funny
Youll see what i mean if u see it
They take some car hoons off the street and make them do an advance driver course test thing and show how badly they fail.....thats what i gathered from the 10 second preview
Ill try and pinpoint when its on exactly.

I believe it's on Today Tonight at 6:30pm Monday Night on channel 7...
The lebbo in the white 200SX looked funny... Sitting right back and he couldn't even reach the top of the steering wheel... Hahaha!!!

I know what you mean... I think it's mainly cars with zorsts that is the problem... I give it a hit somewhere and then cops pull you over cause they heard an exhaust...

what they should do is a show on middle aged family car owners. in my experience, they never indicate, they cut me off all the time, they park in the most hazardous places.
im sure younger ppl drive faster on average, but alot of older people do some really stupid shit that doesnt have anything to do with car speed.

i think it would be funny watching it to see Ian Luff (the instructor) going off at them like on the add "BREAK! BREAK! BREAK! BREAK!...STOP THE CAR"
he is a funny guy and a good bloke and likes to give people shit while joking around but gee he has a temper with so called "HOONS" that think they are the greatest drivers when they have only just got there license.
he is also the guy who does the driving for the Daewoo adds with that blind guy.

ohh ohh guys have to share this with you.
I was following my fiancee through the traffic and where about to pull onto corro drive, she pulled up next to this slightly hotted white skyline, guys in the skyline starts talking to her "nice car for a chick". she just ignored them...I managed to make my way through and pulled up next to the skyline at the next set of lights. we eye eachother off, and I say "Sickkk skyline boys" then gave them a thumbs down and blew them a raspberry. lmao..they wern't impresed and gave me the finger.

I saw it when it was on. Those guys have nice cars for sure, but they can't drive for shit.
Any monkey can do a straight line or sit there going around in circles, but to actually be able to handle your car is another thing.
Those guys were just trying to show off who was the better, and they all looked the same in the end. Hopeless drivers. They have no idea on how their cars handle or what their limitations are. They just have the 'foot down' mentality, and when they end up in the inevitable 'sit and spin with lots of smoke', they are cheered on the street for doing something that was a result of their crap driving, not something they initially set out to do.

Thanks. To me that wasn't a 'vicimisation' article done by the media to pick on anyone.
It's just plain truth, those guys just can't drive. And no matter how naive anyone is, that IS an indication of the driver skill in this country.
If we could drive better as a whole, then we would have higher speed limits. We have the decent roads for sure. I'm certain there have been plenty of times anyone gets on a nice road and wonders why it's only 70 where there are no houses around and it's great driving conditions. I wonder that myself every time I drive over to redhill to go to tafe. Then I spy the idiots weaving and cutting people off and that reminds me. Opps, gotta slam the brakes as some wanker in a 4wd decides it's good enough to cut me off then suddenly stop.
Anyways, I'm just ranting now........

What gave me the shits about the show is at the begging saying "you see them just about everywhere in there suped up cars, and with their aggressive attitude they seem to think they own our roads, but as you'll see they couldn't even pass our simplest driving tests"

they very cleverly show these cars spinning out and **** , then they flick over to a sob story of how some moron doing 100 in a backstreet got killed(my condolences to the death)....then flick back to the "hoons" who are supposed to sum up the general population of car enthusiasts.,....all this is supposed to arise anger in the general public towards car ppl
