Hi,
Any good custom wheel manufacturers in Oz? I've been trawling the net, but there so much crap out there also.
So, I'm hoping some of you guys and gals who have put sweet wheels on your rides maybe know a company or two. I'd like to know what's out there.

How custom are we talking? ROH and Simmons come to mind.

I'm not sure how custom I want. I need to see a lot more of what is out there in wheel-land to make a decision. I'm going through my "wheels" syndrome at the moment, and am checking the mags on every car I see on the road, on the net and in magazines.
Hopefully, sooner rather than later, I'll see a set of wheels and say "Eureka! That's what I want."

ummm well the easiest way i can think of is to go out and looking some car mags, more often then not the will have a wheels guide, or a section that will have where to check out the better end of mag wheels, taken from issue 18 of autosalon

thats just a few, i'm tired of typing them in, sorry guys, if you find issue 18 of autosalon lying around some where they have a wheels guide in there too. good luck i hope you find the wheels you are looking for.

I went looking for some customs a couple of weeks ago.
Simmons are around $680 per wheel for a 17"x7" in whatever offset you want.
ROH didn't even reply to my emails nor returned my phonecalls when I rang them to get details on a custom offset.

What car are you putting the wheels on? I found my selection of rims was heavily restricted for my celica, as it's got an uncommon stud pattern. Conversely, 4x100 or 5x114.3 bolt patterns are common as hell, so you'll be on easy-street if it's one of these. Cruise the websites of big tyre franchises (here and O/S) to run through their selections, by size + offset etc. etc.
-Perhaps fellow Toymods users would have suggestions/directions for you, if they knew what you were putting the wheels on.

If you're looking to put them on your Celica. Simmons and ROH are pretty much it for new rims unless you want to import those billet ones from the US but they are big bikkies.
alternativly find some nice old period correct rims and get them cleaned up.
