Project Car Thoughts

Dudes,
I'm thinking it may be time for a new project car, maybe.
Pre-requisites include...
Must be oldskool Toyota.
Must be able to legally have 1UZ fitment (its WA remember, weight restrictions don't apply)
Preferably 2 door.
Celica's are out as they have been done to death.
MA61's are out for the same reason.
Cars I can think of are Corona Mk2's, or maybe an old Crown.
Car won't be built for any purpose, but must be able to cruise and drag, and handle. (ie, I don't think a UZE-20 Corolla would handle!!!)
I'm basically posting this coz I can't think of any other cars.
Enlighten me please.
Pics if you can.
Cheers

Nothings happened to it, its nearing completion.
But its also nearing the stage where it has become untouchable (as in, I cant do anything to it) without spending a huge amount of money on it, and taking it off the road for 6 months.
If I dont find a project car, I'll just end up getting another MX73 and doing it all to that.

Yeah, coz there is a WORLD of difference between a Celica XX and a Mk2 Supra.
Both cars were ruled out above

Not much.
Concentrate on finishing one car inside 4 days first.

Yeah, Corona MkII's look pretty good. I've always liked them and they're as rare as hens teeth now. Sadly, I've only seen one in good nick - most others were rustbuckets.

OK, how about a crown wagon, converted to a chevy nomad styled look.
ie. weld the rear two doors to the body, and have it like a 2 door wagon, or even convert one to look like a panelvan.
Full chassis would help with the mounting of the motor.
Just my 2 cents worth.
