7MGTE Question Fri, 09 July 2004 16:02 Go to next message
When going from a atmo 7M to the GTE can you still use the std wiring harness etc or does it need to be modified?

Reason i'm asking is i found a cheap MX83 that needs a motor and box so i thought the upgrade might be worth considering.

Anything else apart from bolt it all in that would need to be done?
Any info would be great.
Thanks.

You should essentially be running the Cressida body loom and the Supra/Soarer engine loom - splicing the two together to use one fuse box, etc.

After market computer would be the easiest way out for this conversion. Not saying you have to but probably worth the extra money.
