4AC Fuel?

Just wondering what type of fuel the 4AC in my aussie sprinter is made to run on. I'm running it currently on Lead Replacement but it's kinda smoky (blue kinda smoke) and misses at low revs (1000-2500) so i'm not sure if it's meant to run on unleaded???

I did some research on this when I bought mine. Turns out the 4AC is made to run unleaded. Trouble is our standard unleaded is not good enough and so you'll have to run Premium.
Mine is running a lot better on PULP than it was on LRP.
I doubt changing fuels will help the smoke situation though.
Cheers,
Dan

the low rev missing and blue smoke means that there is still oil in the cylinder as the piston goes through the down stroke... therefore when the combustion stroke occurs it is also burning oil
this can be a number of things:
- piston rings need changing
- cylinder needs honing
- cylinder need boring and resleeve as too warped to be hone

when i ran 4ac..i just chuck in anything which is cheap...excluding diesel of course
unleaded would be the cheapest but try putting in some coke or alcohol if it runs
