With the 3s-GTE, if the tming belt breaks, will i end up smashing valves?

All non VVTi DOHC 4V engines from Toyota are non interference.

my slightly different understanding of the ^^^^ above statement::

"all belt driven non VVTi toyota engines are non-interference"

now, theres only fuck-all countable chain driven DOHC engines around, but its worth a mention.

hmmm, perhaps the 4v condition can be read the same as 'chain driven'
