On the TA23 light surrounds, what is the best method of removing the dodgy black paint to show the chrome underneath?

I have tryed steel brush and wool but it does take quite some time to get off.

I really dont want to have to have them sand blasted and re chromed

paint stripper. Very Happy
but be carefull!!!!!!!!!!
steel wool scratches it aswell so dont do that anymore

Give this one a shot. Take an old cd case that you dont want and break it into sharp pieces of plastic. Use these to scrap off the paint. They wont last long but they wont scrape your chrome either.
