Behind a normal engine, just get Penrite manual gear oil. Somewhere in that region.
When you go and get it, there will be a book there telling what to use in what boxes. Just follow that.
If the box is behind a powerful engine, get Redline Lightweight Shockproof oil.

SAE 80W/90 Gear Oil, API GL-5 is all you need in a Supra 'box.
This standard stuff in available everywhere, you will need 2.5 litres of it too.

im using 85w 140 in my r154..its penrite hypoid gear oil. I use the same viscosity in my diffs as well and have never experienced a problem.

Those other oil's mentioned above are all good stuff. They have the same or better spec's than the figures I quoted you. If you don't need specialist stuff, just get the Valvoline, Castrol or Shell stuff that meets those numbers.
4 litres will cost $20 to $28, and with the 1.5litres you have left, change the diff oil at the same time, it usually needs just 1 litre.
Mitch.
