Who is "davedave"?

Hi,
A couple of times this past week, when I get into the forums, the site thinks I'm davedave?
But, I'm river!
Sure, I logout and relogin as river, but who is davedave?
I can have some wicked fun with this user id

I think you'll find that if you go to post anything it will log you out anyway.

lol, I get the same thing river (it comes up as river).
It's only on the front page, soon as I click on a forum, it goes back to davedave. Does yours go back to river as well? Otherwise you could have some wicked fun with my nick 
Anyways, it's probably just a cookie problem. I use mozilla firefox which could be causing some issues.

Yeah, it goes back to river. However, lately I also get "crownwagon" or something like that.
I wouldn't abise your nick now that I know you're legit. Maybe I'll play with crownwagon until I know he/she is legit.

you guys are on the same ISP, which does some dodgy stuff with the way it handles it's clients. This used to happen to me and a few other people using Pacific Internet.
It wont let you do anything under that user tho.

I was only on pacific for a week or so while I was house sitting, which would explain why it happened mid last month and not any more.
Back to my couple of swiftel static IPs now, if you want my nick you're going to have to spoof em
