kart day? Thu, 15 July 2004 11:58 Go to next message
dunno if this is a go-er - but some background info never hurt...

i grabbed some brochures last time i was at willowbank...

assuming a group of 12-15 drivers (10-19 for brisbane), X minutes hire of driving time:
ipswich kart hire- $55/driver/45min - $70/driver/60min
brisbane kart hire - $60/driver/45min - $75/driver/60min

Both require $5 licence (valid for 12 months)
both offer a 'raceplan' for group bookings.
both have 2-stroke clubmans but ipswich also has Rotax carts...

cross post from cruises/events section...

Holy shit... does ipswich have rotax karts for hire...WOW! For all the unfortunate people who haven't driven one of these... you've gotta try it out...!
I would go ipswich just for that fact alone... however i'm certain u'd have to qualify to drive a rotax, they'd be stupid to just let anyone jump into one of these... unless its been detuned...

Very Happy Toyota car club just had a kart night at Archerfield speed karts. Cost $55 for three races - practise, qualifying and final. Licence is $4 extra if rerquired. 10 - 15 people required for these prices. Outrageous fun & keen to go again.
