more 1uz-fe questions, boost, fuel and trannys!

okies, im prety new to the 1uz-fe but have done heaps of research.
is there any chance i can run say a sc-14 on this engine without lowering the compression ratio? i would be unning a W/A IC setup ofcorse! What injectors would i need to run? and what fuel pump to supply the goods?
next is the trans, how long do you think a 3vz-fe (camry 3lt v6) auto trans would hold up against the mighty 1uz-fe? yes this engine MIGHT be going into a FWD config.
as for mounting the SC-14 i have no idea and it would probably provide piss all boost on the 1uz, but its just adding to the fun. Fabbing up piping for the intake is no problem.
any of this crazy stuff possible? and NO i dont really want togo turbo as space in a levin engine bay is rather tight hehehe

SC14 would be way too small. Some of the guys have set up the Eaton M90 to run about 5 psi un-intercooled and report modest gains (40 rwkW improvement).

What he said. An SC14 is designed for a 2 litre engine, so it will do bugger-all on a 4 litre engine - and no you can't overspeed it by a factor of two! A pair of SC14's would work nicely but unless you're putting the engine in a small truck you're unlikely to have the space.

mm bugger. if i ran twin SC-14's can i still use the stock intake manifold? any ideas on a fuel pump?
dunno how much a eaton would be worth over here in NZ, i assume that two SC-14's would be cheaper still.
to run twin SC's one would have to be on each side correct?
looked on lextreme but not had all that much help regarding size of engine or Super Charging!

Intake manifold makes no difference; the SC14 is externally mounted so you just run pipes from the blower(s) to the manifold, just like a turbo. There's no requirement to put a blower on each side of the engine, just put them wherever you can. Hell you could mount them in the boot if you could figure out a way to drive them!
As for the fuel pump, there are plenty of options but for a large-ish boosted engine you're going to need something fairly heavy duty. I'm running a Walbro pump (400hp 2JZ-GTE) which might be enough for your application, but if you're going nuts you might need twin pumps.

Ahh sweet, 2jz pump and i know exactly where i can mount the SC's.
As for the ECU can i run stock 1uz ECU if i run say 7 PSI? without de-compressing the engine?

TRD USA make a supercharger for the V8 engines.
Late model Jap Camries, 1MZ-FE, have 165kW at the engine.
I'd be looking at one of these & then talking to an auto trans specialist about cooling, line pressure, etc
