JZZ30 Soarer - Axle Tramp

Howdy all,
Time for my once a year question
Since converting my car to R154 manual and A02B Torsen LSD, I now experience quite a bit of axle tramp on harder launches.
Two basic questions:
1. What can cause axle tramp ?
2. How can I attempt to fix it ?
I've got shocks that are approx. 12 months old installed (KYB) and running A'PEXi lowered springs (about 1.5" lower than stock) just as some background info.

Either your shocks are too soft or one or more bushes are shagged.

Don't really know about the shocks being too soft. They are apparently Street/Sport series, so they shouldn't be either too hard or too soft. Will have to check out any bushes in the vicinity.
Hmm... I'm running a fair whack more power than factory. 2 new turbos plus a whole load of other goodies now. After a tune it'll be putting over 200kW easily at the rears.

I have 228rwkw in a much lighter car. It used to tramp like a champion with the old shocks, but with new (firmer) shocks it's completely gone now.

man these cars arse ends are pretty much imune to axle tramp...i have a torsen in the cressi and some times they get visious wen trying to grab at traction (to the point of twisting the diff off the crossmember ) get some one to film the car launching from the back and on each side and you'll find the (tramp is the diff trying to stop wheel spin and grab traction "it feels terrible though")

You are right Cambelt. The rear cradle mounts are perforated rubber standard and need to be replaced with the Supra solid ones. The trick is getting some!! They swapped over in 96 and its a lucky dip even when you order new ones as to what you will actually recieve.

At $176 each with discount i wasn't going to try my lack of luck.
I have heard of others that ordered them and got the soft standard Soarer mounts.
I am now after a set of rooted mounts to get a friend to pour some solids for me to test.
I suffer the axle tramp affliction.
