Eddie (one of the members here) in Washington State USA has a 7MGTE in one (one of 2 in the USA). It does a 12.7 second quarter. Nice brown color. Very sleeper spec.
I saw one here about 25 years ago. It was a light metallic green color.
You could get them with an 18R or an M motor (R/MX28/29).

Hi,
Looks like a real chick magnet car! I'd look a bit better if it was towing the Toymods box trailer!

I disagree!
The Mk2 wagon looks better in other pics I have seen - a bit distorted looking here. It really os no worse than most other wagons of the period.
I love the two RWD Corona hardtops. That newer one was powered from the factory with the 3T-TGE, and they were quite a rocket. Wonder why some of them haven't come to Oz as an import?
The only promblem with the bottom one is that it had the tall later model grille. Toyota was trying to make the ting look like a Merc or something.

Gotta love the US-spec Corona's...
No need for a rack & pinion conversion when using 1/2jzgte
Plus you get a way ugly rubber bumper bar
Cheers
