Hi, Anyone out there know which direction to point the open gap of spark plugs for an 85 Cel GTS? Thanks.

you point the gap towards and inlet valve
or beteen then 2 on a 4 valve motor
(well thats how ive been doing it)

We tried indexing the plugs on my racing car engine, and it made no difference at all. You might get a better result on other engines though.

The talk about this on the NGK website and they say the only way to really make it affective is to do it on a Dyno

Yep, we did it on a dyno.
Again, no difference, but it might be different on other engines.

I guess it really depends on the cylinder shape and design as well as the current spark plug location.
