ae111 gze into an ae82 rolla would be my choice if it has to be FWD.
GZE into AE71 would prob be my choice if it didn't have to be FWD.

whats a beams 3sge sorry but i am a bit of a newby.
oh and i forgot id rather not go for turbo or supercharger as i love the sound of n/a cars roaring up to red line and also prefer not to have sudden turbo boost halfway through a corner on a fwd specially if im going for a fang through galston gorge or the comenarra parkway (sorry about spelling)

It's a late model 3SGE that was used in the Altezza RS200 in Japan (and from what I've been reading possibly the last of the MR2s?). It has VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing-intelligent) and produces 200 horsepower and 21.0kg-m of torque.
Here's a pic of one swapped into an SW20 MR2:

Ouch! Heavy bastards
Oh well.. nothing a bit of weight reduction can't fix if it's going to be used on the track

oh yeah i remember now thanx lucid.
i plan to spend a bit of money but its about 8000 for a beams the last i heard and thats tooooooo much.
yeah ill be stripping out the interior and all that i want that race car feel even if its a daily driven weekend worrior(i used to have a low, loud escort 2lt with rock hard racing suspenion allround )
so i dont mind the fact it will be uncomfortable. im looking to spend around 10,000 after buying it. and ill be doing the work myself so ill save money on that to.
now all i need to do is find the right car for the right price and get my license back heheehheeh.

both sound good, but i dont think ur goin to kill an integra type R in either.
if u want track raceing, non forced induction, and like to rev an engine hard, consider the 20v 4age into an ae82. the 4age series is a great engine series, and weight reduction in the slightest form will help HEAPS because these engines dont have much torque, and are held back because of their lack of power down low to get the car moving in the first place.
a lightened ae82 twincam with a 20V and mods to it, including weight reduction will definetly haul serious ass, and ur integra type R buddy will definetly have to get use to seeing ur tail lights. the 20v engine will rev just as high as his honda vtec engine without any concerns.
just a thought.

For the price, it'd probably be easier to get to get a better power/weight with an AE82 with say a 20v. Having said that, based on the reviews of them, the ST162 would be the better handling package.
Personally, my pick would be an ST162 with the 130kW 3SGE with an MR2 Turbo LSD gearbox.

The beams is GOD. Stock form has more power than a Type R... but that damn vtec... i dont know of ne one with a beams so i dont know if it will b faster... but its the great 3sge... so u cant really go wrong
Im pretty sure that the higher priced ones are for the RWD with the 6spd box.
I was once quoted 4300 for the redtop.
