Firstly is the ra60 brake booster and master cylinder the same as the sa63 in side??? and it this a good upgrade over the ta23 one as im running disk brakes and ra23 fronts at the moment and will i need any sort of proportioning valve to stop the rears locking up.
Secondly does anyone know the width of a r31 skyline diff or pintara as im considering one of these for my ta23 depending on width. These can be found in lsd easier then the T series. Or what other disc brake diffs are the same wdith or close to a ra40 as I wont a bit of extra width then my ta23 but with no chop down. Just move mounts.

May want to consider a MkII Corona diff, the later ones are an F-series and LSD's are available from MkII Supras. Unsure on measurements, but I sold my spare one to Norbie who is putting it in his RA23 so it can't be too bad!

MkII diff is 1410mm wide, xA23 diff is 1370mm wide. With suitable rims it will work OK.

Depends on what kind of power you want to put through it. If it is just an 18R/RG, then I would just look at getting an LSD for your T series diff and putting some RT141 corona discs on it. If you are planning on more power then an upgrade is wise.
The early celica diffs are very narrow, so I doubt you will get one to fit your needs easily. I am going to be using the MX23 that Norbie recommended with RT corona brakes. There is heaps of options for LSD's for these.

The RA60 M/C rebuild kit does not list that it is suitable for the SA63, so my quick answer here is no. Second, yes, one of these set-ups is a good upgrade for your TA23 with the brake upgrade you have mentioned. Yes you will need to either cut two coils of the spring inside your standard prop valve, source a prop valve from a car with similar sized rear disks as standard, or get a HQ prop valve which you can adjust (on the unit itself), not inside the cabin !
I investigated the Skyline/Pintara rear axle and found it was 1420mm hub face to face, too wide for my liking for my RA23 as I did not want to play too hard with wheel offsets.
Second, good luck finding an LSD for one of these, as unless Borg Warner still stock these new at their factory, finding one of the 400 Skyline Silouettes (sp?) that Nissan made std with lsd at a wreckers and still with its lsd intact wound be score of the century......
Its the age old question, what disk brake lsd diff is close in width to a RA23/40, there is no direct answer here, as mentioned before, the F series is closest, but its no direct bolt up.
Mitch.

I may take you up on that fook. I can get skyline diffs for $100 complete so i was gonna hunt around and see if there was a lsd or maybe build a good lsd diff at the wrecker and then pay $100 without them knowing about it. but it all depends on what they have at the time.
Would a ra60 master cyliner be good in a sa63. my father has a sa63 and if i put a new master cylinder and booster in his car he may give me his setup

Next time I speak to him I'll ask again to see if he's still selling and how much he wants for it. I was meant to show him the car ages ago (and I think I'm meant to show it to you too ), I've been slack Or maybe just busy...
