quick question:
to any of u who have had ur cars run on a dyno, where abouts do u get ur peak power/peak torque in the rev range. i know what the books say for the 100kw 4age, but i wana know what the facts are for an engine pushing 15yrs of wear and tear?
please post up ur dyno charts if u have them handy, and list any mods u have to ur cars, as well as any other relevant information.
cheers guys.

Yikes man, That dyno seems to indicate some issues somewhere, What did the operator of the dyno have to say about it?
Before you do more mods I'd look at fixing any residing problems This is my last dyno on my 300zx TT before I sold it

yeah but thats got two turbos and 3L of V6edness...
... shit i dont care, its a $100 motor that came out of a bin.
Dyno operator laughed, and asked if there was any issues with the motor.
I just said "WOOOHOO! 69KW from a $100 piece of scrap metal!"
I know how to fix it good.
Turbo.

oh, i was just under teh impression that ur engine had some problems witzel, thats all. thanks for ur input.
so most would agree that the smallport 4age is generally makein 70odd kw at the wheels these days? (in a generally good condition motor and drive train)

I don't think I've seen a single standard 4AGE make over 70KW's at the last 4 toymods dyno days. Most are making low 60's at the most, and generally only a couple of Kilowatts more that the old bigports. Take a look through the history of Toymods Dyno day in the events forum for some numbers.
