A mate of mine here in Perth W.A. has done this conversion.
He is not on this list.
If you are really keen, I can ask if he does not mind, me giving you his phone number, and you can call him to discuss it.
Mitch.
Should that be T'12A'22 ?

one of my celicas (an original TA22 GT actually) has got a series 5 13b turbo in it..
which engine are you putting in?
some are side mounted, and others are front.. i never found out which ones did exactly, but i know the series 5 is front mounted.. all that was done to mine, was having the side mounts removed, and a front mount made up for the front chassis which is under the radiator... have a look at my site.. might get some idea.. i can send more pics if u interested dude..

Not sure whether i am going down this track or the 4agte track at the moment just getting all specifics before embarking on such a big task, getting all brakes and struts sorted at the moment so i will wait until that is all finished up first

cheers josh

basically the 4agte will be easier to engineer into the car
but if ur after some crazy power, then id recommend the 13b turbs
theyre 155kw/200hp flywheel stock
and are good reving engines and do 13s with stock setup turbo engine

jus thow on a nice hybrid t4, some boost, an extend turbo port, and ul kill anyone on the road.

by the way dude, i added a couple more pics of the engine bay on my site, where u can see the mounts.

Yeah I have a couple of mates with rx's, One is an R100 13bbp corona 4spd, goes well, Rx7 series 2 13bt microtech, and sam my mate HAD an Rx7 series 4 with a series 5 13bt microtech, highflow turbo and a 3 inch exhaust and that mad 187rwkw at 10psi at Rotorworx dyno (injectors were maxed thats why only 10pound) Auto as well so not a bad figure (only auto cause he is in a wheel chair. Car is now written off. He had a fairly major accident, Me and a mate were next to him when it happened
wasn't a nice thing to see, even had to pull the poor bloke out of the car. Certanily hasn't turned us off cars just toned us down a bit on the rd, but out on the track well thats a different situation.
Some pics of the rx7, Pic number 5 the car is actually siting flat on the hoist!!!!!

Can somebody give me an engine mount design,

SIV and V 13B engines are side mounted. You can change them to front mount very easily by changing the timing cover to a front mount one, that is, if you want to do that. You would probably also want to change the sump to an earlier 13B (e.g. RX4) which has the pickup and bulge at the front whereas the SV has the bulge in the middle. If you do this, make sure you get the right pickup too!

the semi-conversion was done by the previous owner
im unsure what gearbox it is, but seeing that it bolts right upto the engine and has a modified crossmember and tailshaft im thinking its the std 13bt 5spd... i doubt its a supra 5spd or anything
