	| I finally managed to stuff up my 4ac (Hard knocking sound, then it sound like a gun shot windscreen with oil, everywhere ), what i wasent expencting was a hole on the bonnet. Anyway all this long im still trying to save up for a sr20det. Since i need this car almost daily, right now i just might or do have enought for a 4ag. a wreckers is selling one, just the engine for $550 of a rear wheel jdm, how much would the rest of the convertion cost, does anyone know? | |

	| LOL, i so want pics i've always hear stories of holes in bonnets, but never seen one

oh.. sorry to hear about your loss

or you could buy a cheap shitter for $2-500 with 12 months rego, and drive it around while you do the SR20 conversion? also gives you a bit of a deadline to finish it

	| dont EVER buy just the engine, unless you already have all the extra bits laid out and prepared for the engine, or are prepared to wait/pay through the nose for the extra bits needed.
All up, a 4age conversion parts alone could be worth up to $2000.00 once you;ve added everything.

If you really want it done, send me a PM.

	| you should be able to pick up a 4ac from here for like $50. Are you planning on doing this sr20 conversion yourself? If you are then why the hell are you getting a mechanic to put the 4ac in for you?
Do it your self and save the $300, if you can't do a 4ac change you will never do an sr20

	| common man pics!!! im swaping a 4ac in a rolla at work today/tomorrow, has holes in both sides of the block. pretty good effort. also something ive never seen before: the gearbox (ae82 rolla) has provisions for a starter motor on BOTH sides. i have never seen this before and it looks completely stock.
