sorry, this has probably been covered in previous threads but can the twin sidedraught solexes and manifold go straight on to the 2T not dramas? cheers

No. The inlet manifold bolt pattern is different between OHV and DOHC engines.

Hey Nick, hows the extractors goin? norbie is right although there are a few custom manifolds out there that were made to fit the 2T head, they are pretty hard to source but im sure someone has one on here that would be wiling to part with..

yopu could source the inlet manifolds from redline .. the bolt pattern for the carbys i believe is the same as weber 45's so feasibly yes it can be done ..

expect tp pay for the manifold's though

ive had a single 45 omn a 2t with no dramas , bar a small fouling of airfilter against the brake cylinder ..

With the redline manifold you coulsd adapt twin 45's to it , though if your going to that carby setup - you might look at a little more cam + playing about with your dizzy to get full use of the fuel delivered by the big carbs

just keepimg the ease of fitment in mind atm.

alternative if ever needed... i dont plan on keeping the 2t longterm.
