Hi, I have very little knowledge of cars so please bare with me if I making terrible mistakes Very Happy

Ive heard from sources that you can buy the rear end from a jap 86 and put it onto an aussie sprinter so then you can use the jap lsd's.

what exactly are you getting in the 'rear end' of the sprinter. could you just buy the diff housing and put that onto an aussie 86?

This is from a jap 86. Could it be put on an aussie sprinter and then you're set?

You need the whole disc to disc including the carrier, centre and axles.

or u could use t18 diff and install a lsd centre into that

What car is a t18? are you saying that if you use the t18 diff you won't need the axles etc, and you can just use the existing sprinter ones?

He's saying use the entire diff assembly (from drum to drum) out of a Toyota T18 (aka TE72 Corolla). It's a T series diff, same as JDM AE86's and slightly larger than the diff in the Aus-spec AE86's (S series I think).

Please do a search if you want more information, we've gone over this topic so many times it's not funny.
