This could be a collectors edition. There is a gt4 in the latest issue of SPEED mag on Nathan's ST185 Group A. They say its got a ST205 engine in it but looks to have a 185 head? Its been stroked to 2.4 and has lots of other goodies in it. Definitly worth a read.
I like it because its white

If these mags dont come up with something quick they are going to be in trouble because they are almost out of colours to feature in Fast Nissans & WRX's. I would rather read up on a stock looking camry with a 3sgte running 14s then a funny car shell of a GTR running 8's. (now that I had my little bitch)
It would be great to see more GT4's, MR2's and toyotas in general in these mags. So when can we expect yours to grace these pages . How is it all going?

mine ?
( assuming you ment mee! )
Well - it has a gaping hole where the engine used to be - and another shiney rebuilt and modified to all shit Gen 2.5 Group A 3sgte on a stand next to it - So i guess thats progress !( 2.5 cause its a gen 2 block + head - gen 3 cams , pistons rods ,Shims so it sits sorta in the middle )
ive got my group A gearbox's lined up - just awaitibng details form parties involved re paying for them + getting them into my hands !
My W to A intercooler is on the boat from jap-land - and is expected to arrive on Aug 1st - So thats the next part due to grace the car - along with the group A bonnet !
ECU's still on hold but wolf have been champs and patient waiting for the new motor - and still honour our arrangement - so thats in the pipeline as soon as i clean up a few bills
540CC injectors should be on the way - ive sourced them - once again - waiting on parties involved to get them sent on + paid for
St205 front brakes are being test fitted straight after the motor goes in to get my rotors ordered + spacers made then ill bolt up those suckers
So yeah - at the moment ive only got the exhaust , and suspension totally finished, and the bodywork started - the rests waiting on the motor to get installed - and should start falling into place .. I hate waiting for all the goodies i have already to go in but as you know - it costs $$ to do that and the budgets spread over alot of big items!
Everything i need to get the first stages of fun done have been aquired - just got to get to with the spanners and bolt them in ..
Next year - bigger turbo + fuel system , interior and paint .
pages gracing - well - if i get shitted off with it it will grace unique cars with a for sale sticcker on it - for the magazones like speed - well - i guess they'd have to deem it worthy to shuffle out a Skyline or a WRX first - but theres more deserving toyotas out there that should go in before mine!
( rods ta22 , justens Group A pair , even rav-gt4's should at least get a look in in hot 4's - some examples )

Quote: | you probably wont believe me but they were putting hints to wanting to do gt4 write ups
I emailed them mentioning a few in NSW and such that i know like justens pair - and gave them a it of a run down on mine not expecting anything back ..
But i got a good response oddly enough - and a " interesting car - we'd like to do something down the track " reply to my cars details
theres more worthy Gt4's out there than mine atm - and it seems speed may have put one in that will drill up hopeful support for the gt4 !
|
I emailed them about my car. Got one reply to send in pics and specs. Havent heard back yet. Hope they do a GT-Four article, about the history, models , specs etc.

OK I imagine the email addy is in the front of the mag. The other mags dont seem big on response, it kinda makes you wonder where the readers letters actually come from
