thought you might be able to give me some advice maybe.. looks like an earlier 1j, is it actually from an earlier car than its going into...? i thought that was illegal as far as rego ect. re emmisions.

I thought that too, but according o the engineer, its Emmissions they concentrate on. I still think its illegal, but if the engineer will pass it, i dont mind.

Intercooler
Exhaust made up

hey dude im from syd ...i got a 1jz soarer with a massive T76 garret on there + more stuff ..its got 200kw+ at the back wheels ..i was wondering where can i get engineers certificates from ...if u could pls email me back ..cheers

In Qld you can't replace with an engine older than the car it is going into so that is why mine is the VVTi version. You can't fit the non VVTi version - it won't get its mod plate.
