Question about turbo seals....

Hey guys, after recently finishing my turbo conversion, ive been having abit of an oil leak. Recently i took off my intercooler and it had quite alot of oil in it, as well as the intercooler pipes. Like if you poured the oil out it would be about 1/4 or more of a cup of oil. Does this means the seals on my turbo are shagged?

It could just be your PCV... put a catch can on the PCV and clean out your intercooler and see if it still happens.

That much oil in the inlet system is perfectly normal for a turbo car. I've yet to see an intercooler that doesn't have a fair amount of oil collected in the bottom (except for new ones of course).

oh its just that its only been running about 5 days. So i thought it was rather abnormal. But i suppose if the seals are gone, it would be smoking ?
