Really need to know if

i really really need to know if they was 5s type engine released turbo from the factory, eg. 5sgte is there such a engine
and if they was what car was it in, the 5s series engines are a 2.2ltr 4cylinder, 5sfe,
any info would be great,

what about the MR2 that came out with the 5sfe in it or was that only in the N/A MR2.
so no car in the world was ever realise with a turbo 5s in it.

NO MR2 had a 5s motor (they dont exist do they?)
MR2's came with 4a's 3s's and 1zz's

in the states the MKII MR2 has a 5sfe in N/A
if it is only a 3s block does that mean that if u turbo a 5s it will be legal and be able to get a engineering cert and a mod plate for the work, if it is a 3s block

i just went to check the engine block and it has a 5s in the side of it.
basicaly why i want to know all this because i was planning to turbo a 5sfe but u can not legally turbo a engine and get a mod plate unless that engine came out of the factory turbo in anything turbo, but if it is a stroked version of the 3s does that mean that it can be done.
or have i been misinformed about that rule????

that doesnt really help me though
does anyone know about that rule that u cant turbo a motor unless it was released from the factory with a turbo in any vehicle.
where do u find out these regulations??

Where are you?
If you are in NSW then check the RTA website. You could also ring an engineer to find out.

The 5S is a real engine. Came in the povopack Celicas over here.
