they are actually closer to a starlet than a corolla - ep61 or something like that, running 3e-te motor.
Search the forums and google.

are you sure your not talking about a jap sprinter? that's what it sounds like, except there not turbo, they were only ever supercharged as factory engines, but people tend to turbo them a lot. someone should post a jap sprinter pic and see if theat's what he means.

COROLLA Series 2, 1989, manual , CD, turbo, blow off valve, p/steer, elec windows, immob, climate control, gd cond $6200
thats what the add says in the paper and when i phoned, he said it had pop up lights and the turbo is factory......and it was a hatch.
i dont know much about these cars (as u can see) thats why any information would be great.
ive seen a couple drive around but havent noticed what they actually were.

For sure, as far as I know there was a turbo version, so just double check the plate in the bay.

there are about 3 or 4 i know of around here, and 1 or 2 of them have very factory looking litle scoops.
i have seen info on them around.. USE GOOGLE
there are no pages which are dedicated to them if thats what you are after, you will need to work a bit for it (IE USE GOOGLE)
find out the chasis code, find out the engine code, and then look them up seperately.
maybe if you buy it, you could start the first dedicated COROLLA II page on the net??
Cya, Stewart
ps, and se my sig

Ive owned one of these babies about 2 yrs ago , If you get the Starlet Turbo they are 1.3 Litre Single cam turbo and the Corolla 2 / Corsa are 1.5 Litre single cam turbo running a CT9 / 12 Turbo , Fun little cars
I wouldnt pay more than $5K for one i paid $4K for mine 2 years ago and a very clean car , Had an accident with front end damage being bonnet and guard and i got $800 for it.

There not really fast i would say Swift GTi sort of speed standard , With exhaust , filter and 10psi they would keep up with a standard Turbo TX3 , MX6 Turbo
