my ke30 wont idle, i think my timing is out, but how am i supposed to check it when it wont idle long enough idle long enough for me to check it, and what is the idle mixture supposed to be, i was playing around with that for a while, and didnt make 2 shits of difference, and i dont know if my car is running too rich or too lean, i did it to the books specs, 3 winds out, so i hope thats fine. any other ideas on what could be causing this, it sorta runs with the choke on, can you check and adjust the timing with the choke on?. any help would be greatly appreactiated.

If it gets better with the choke then it could be a vacumn leak. Check all your vacumn pipes and inlet manifold gasket. Also that all bolt are tight on the carbie. How does it drive when the revs are high?

it revs way to high when the choke is on just a little bit, and i've checked all my vacuum hoses and they are all fine, i rang around and people were saying that it was the inlet manifold gasket and to tighten the bolts that hole the inlet maniold on, i did that and i tightned the bolts except for one which i stripped thanks to shit tools, so i have no idea how im gunna got the manifold of to replace the gasket.

Dunno if it'll fit, but there's that tool they used to advertise on late night TV... they sell a clone down at supercheap. It's one of those "tightens as you use it more" tools... They're great on stripped bolt heads and stripped nuts!
