ok fellow toymodians
after having a kickass time in a new Ferrari 360 Modena yesterday at oran park the sprinter developed a weird oil Preassure problem where if it was at load for about 3 seconds at 6500 RPM the preassure would drop from a good 80 to nothing instantly until you got off the throttle, and got worse as the oil got hotter until i shut it down before i lunched the motor. Am i running too thick oil ?? ie, is the sump running dry from not being able to fall back to the sump fast enough, or do i just need a bigger oil cooler and switch to a dry sump setup oil temp was fluctuating between 85-95 depending on how hard i was going at the time.
PS : Picks of having fun in the Modena soon..
Ben.

I'd suspect the oil pump for that one, when the pressure builds up it can't cope and loses pumping action. Oil pumps are expensive though so get a few opinions before you proceed.
