MA61 Supra Seats + interior stuff

Im getting a new interior and well to be honest this one is pretty crappy. Its maroon in colour.
There are some parts which would be salvageable, ie small parts here and there.
But the centre console is fu**ed, stereo surround is celica black, as is the underside of the steering colum, carpet is worn, pockets on doors are gone.
Now the seats are not the greatest things ever, the passenger one is in decent condition for 18 years driving, the drivers is not the best, needs a retrim, but otherwise still feels great, the adjustability is still there (cept i dont think the bottom of the 3 buttons work)
anyways, if u need anything from a marron interior ill see if its decent or not. And make an offer on the seats if you would like.

i'll give you $50 for the seats because:
1. they're looking a bit worn out especially the drivers seat
2. my interior is black and grey so therefore they would look shit. but I may change my mind if i can get them fairly cheap. otherwise may aswell just go out and pay for black/grey seats.
that's my offer. how much were you after?

Bid noted
as u can see they are still in the car. I will hopefully pick up the new interior tomorrow, but i wont be pulling anything out until monday or tuesday due to work and copious amounts of uni assignments.
You should try and figure out how much freight will cost from Sydney.

freight shouldn't be a problem because theres still the chance i might be going to sydney in the next couple of weeks. only problem is trying to fit 2 extra seats in the car.
my point from before, the only way i could justify having red, green, blue, pink etc.. seats in the car is if i got them fairly cheap. If it ends up being around the $150 - $200 mark then i'd give them a miss. I think the general price around toyota wreckers is about $200 - $250. Not sure what quality the seats are in though.

The passenger seat is fairly decent, but has the silver trim around the back broken in one spot
the drivers seat has worn fabric on the bottom, and if u look closely in the drivers view pic u can see that a bit of the brown plastic has peeled back and there is a tear on the side support, missing a little foam too for some reason.

I'm after the following:
- The trim for the steering column, both top and bottom.
- The steering wheel adjuster knob and associated frame and mechanism.
- The stereo surround.
Hows $40.00 sound

(top is maroon, bottom is black from celica)
- The steering wheel adjuster knob and associated frame and mechanism. (unsure of this part???)
- The stereo surround. (also black out of a celica)

at toyota wreckers the supra seats go for roughly around $200 - $250 a pair although i only rang up a few places. I've sort of got my mind set on the prelude seats now. apparently they bolt straight in (according to one of the guys i rang up) and i think he said they're about $350 a pair. I think they were from a gen 3 prelude (1987-1991), but not sure as i didn't actually see them.
i was looking at this guys gen 4 prelude tonight and that has some nice seats in it too; nicer than the gen 3. the dashboard looks pretty good too with the way the guages are set out. to top it off i also looked and sat in the gen 5 prelude. anyway i'm going a bit off the topic.
what's everyones opinion between the supra seats and the prelude seats? or maybe i should start a new thread....

Comfy yes
check out Norbie's site with a sale brochure and have a look at how the seats work http://www.norbie.net/Supra/P12.jpg
i beleive they 'may' bolt into a celica
btw, Maroon wasn't a celica colour, nor was the blue interior i think, but there was a black interior that looks celica'ish for the supra
but i think everyone loves that one cauz its the least retro of the lot

Of course they do! In the US, the Celica GTS has the same seats, wheels & flares as the Supra. And besides which, a Supra & Celica are essentially identical from the firewall back (and IRS celica's ARE)

Well, I test drove an RA60 with the maroon interior. (unless it was red) I don't think the colour choice differences between Supra/Celica at all, it's just that some colours are a lot more popular with one of the other (ie Maroon Supras, Blue Celicas)
Maxdamage - why don't you price getting the seats recovered? They would match your interior then, and look new to boot. You could either have them look stock, or be a little different with them. Here is an url to someone's seats they had custom covered. Before and after shots, they are now grey with black down the middle and with stiched celica emblems. Doesn't look too bad at all.

BTW Celicamad85 has Prelude seats in his RA65, and I think he likes them a lot. You could ask him about them, he might even have a pic.

I'm a bit confused - I've seen more celicas with various Blue interiors than any other colour. Black & brown & red/maroon seem to be less common.

that little bit of silver lining has broken off on my MA61 seats as well, seems like a common problem anyone have any suggestions on how to patch it up and make it a bit more neat?

does anybody know of a site where i can find interior pictures of preludes? I'm sick spending ages looking to find the same old exterior shots. Also does anybody know of a honda forum like toymods? serious question so anyone with smartass urls like www.hondaisshit.com or similar, please refrain from posting.
thanks.
