Hey guys, how would a T300S go on a gen 3 1G-GTE??
I searched the forums and found no info on this turbo??

No I don't... I just had it offered to me by an importer to replace a T04E in a kit for sale..
I was hoping it may be a common turbo all I know is it's a HKS part

Actually I just found this:
0.63 exhaust
0.70 compressor
good for 230+rwkw
0.63 exhaust is good for a 1G isn't it??

.63 is good if you only want to make 230rwkw but .83 would be better but if you are only using a standared computer the t300s will do fine

If you are after a drivable street car and track car (hill climbs etc) I would go for the .63 T300. If you are after a street car and quarter mile machine go for the .83 TO4E. The .63 exhaust cover will give better spoolup. Just for interest I have gone for a .63 Garret on my 1ggteu.

Thanks Craig... I thought these two turbos were capable of similar power - is the T04E rated at 400hp or am i thinking of somethin else??
