im having an engine posted from adelaide and wanted to know the weight of a 2tg it has been worked a bit but cant be much heavier i need to tell the transport company asap thanx...

About 200kg? Don't know really. 'Working' the motor won't make it heavier to any significant degree.

i bought one a while back and me and my brother lifted fan to clutch with inlet mani but no exhaust mani. we aren't real big fellers so i'd say 120kg?

its just the engine without gearbox..!!

its definately not more than 150kg. and no way under 100kg
so i would have to suggest a base weight of bout 120kg like ramtech said
but if you have the motor and bathroom scales

is that including gearbox? if it is, then minus 25kg for the gearbox. tell them to take parts you don't need off it to save weight, such as fan, if you're putting headers on it, take the exhaust manifold off, etc.
