Will the TA22 springs fit a RA28, and if so how much are they lowered.

BlackRA28- The eng has twin 44 solex carbys with manifold ready 2 go, got no idea on the kays. It was bought from paradise toyota bout a yr and a half ago and had only done 5000 if that since then. it went like a jet when it was in the car.

The rear springs will definately fit the 28, im sure the fronts will but u might need a 28 strut top. They lower the car about 1" 1\2 so they are legal.

There is no hub assembly with the volvo brakes, its just the calipers.

people100- What were u after in the 18rg bits?

btw ppls wat is PM exactly?

the 18rg complete, does it run well, any mechanical problems / anything need replacing? Do you have the engine running currently? Will my extractors off my 18rc fit? Or does this engine set up come with them? Will i have to purchase any additional parts to set it up? Oh btw, can i use my current clutch (its fairly new) rather than using the 18rg one?

Just a few questions Rolling Eyes

The engine is complete and runs very well, when i had it running it blew no smoke and didnt breathe any oil. Your 18rc extractors wont fit the G and it doesnt come with extractors. THe only thing u would need to buy to run it is the extractors and an engine fan, its a drop in and turn the key eng. The eng comes with a fairly new clutch anyways.

Can you define "very well" a bit more? has it had a rebuild recently? Anywork done, tuning, reciepts of work done to the engine etc? Is it going to die anytime soon? And why are you selling it?

G'day mate
I have found wat i am looking for Very Happy
I am looking for an 18R-G. I am keen on getting it. Is it still for sale? i want the whole motor though. Cause i have an RA60 with the standard 5spd. Would it bolt straight in cause i heard it did. Well i am bloody keen to get it but i need it shipped to tasmania. But i got the cash ready and ready to buy.
It's all upto u now and if u wanna sell it.
Hope to hear from u soon

Look i have no idea, if i had receipts i would have said so. I put the eng in my mates car, he crashed it, and i bought the eng back.
Like i said it went 'very well' because it did. It blew no smoke and didnt breathe oil out the rocker cover which indicates the rings and valve stem seals and guides must be in good order. I havent had it long so thats all i know of it.
