Latest issue of "Speed" magazine = Hachi heaven...

Theres a rally driving school feature on extremedriving.net featuring a beat up sprinter as a course car. I've seen articles on the school in other car mags but still entertaining, apparently the hachi has coped so much abuse it's running a sigma rear end
Theres also a South Australian drift event feature which is taken out by a guy named Beau Yates in a Panda 20v Levin. It amuses me that he kicked the ass of all the expensive s13/14's etc. I love it when people on this forum go on and on about "get a silvia for drifting they're so much better" and hachi's are still running competitively against them at half the price

yea i actualy did that course, they have a few sprinters all with virtualy stock running gear. i was talking to the owner about them and he said they used to all run 4ages but they had to much grunt for some ppl to control so they went back to 4acs with stock rear ends. the funiest part was when they mistook my sprinter
<-------- with one of their cars (from a distance) as their cars are all sprayed yellow.

I've yet to meet Beau but I can say he can certainly drive an 86 ... he certainly didn't seem fazed when he took on a twin turbo'd mustang at the last QR Drift Day and put up a good show.
