mx62 auto fix up

gotta fix the auto in my mx62. anybody know much about them? i'm gonna get it set up a bit better so i can go harder!! what do you's recommend for stall? 2700rpm or there-abouts? what parts do i need? i'm gonna get a decent size cooler for it. any cheap sources i should know about?

Easier, cheaper, better way.
Convert to manual.

not for me, no parts for a manual conversion where i am(tassie). i'm not keeping this car for long, so i'm fixing what's there(i've gotta pull the gearbox apart a bit, so i might as well put some goodies in it!!), then goodbye cressida, hello mx22 corona mark 2!!!
