ma70, ga70 body differences?

Whats the go with someone saying ma70 and ga70 have differnt bodies like wide vs narrow (ga70)
As i plan to buy a 1/2 cut leftovers tommorow as i need the front bumpers etc..
They are the same bumpers etc arent they??

yeah the bumpers are the same, it's just the side flares don't flare out as far as a widebody. And if you end up with a spare flare give me a buzz

spent an hour making this pic, it shows pretty much what my supra looks like. (the guards!)
I have a hunch that your ma70 is also a narrowbody, i have some pics you put up ages ago of your white ma70 and noticed it was the same as mine. You'll know for sure after you get this GA70. Keep me updated, and can you send me those pics you were going to send?

Following up on a question that I was wondering, Blake, what other stuff is the same on the GA and the MA or even 1J cause I have some stuff to sell off a GA70 halfcut eg brake booster/master cylinder and all air/con crap. Also front brake rotors callipers etc.

what parts do you have?
Brakes are same,
Aircon may vary - thermo fan wise.
Brake master and booster are same.

Eh? I was under the impression the GA70 brakes were smaller to fit under the 15 inch wheels.

Just for comparison... my GA61 Celica XX (Celica Supra) is "narrow" body compared to the MA61's... JCMF's XX is the same.
Maybe Toyota wanted to continue the tradition?
Some MA61's had narrow body too... like the MA61 that had a M-TEU in it!

I've heard a few people say this, but every GA70 I've seen (admittedly only 2 or 3) has had 16" wheels and the same size brakes as the MA70.

Fair enough - I know the GZ20 brakes were smaller and ma70 brakes don't fit the 15 inch wheels on those - and I'd heard the ga70 were smaller too but never actually seen them.
There again, you can't trust what you read coz the jza70 brakes were supposed bigger than ma70 and lo and behold they were exactly the same!
