5mge - no p/s pump connected

Would it do any damage to the rack or pump, if i drove the car without the power steering pump belt on?
It has fluid in it, but the pump pulley hits the afm (dont ask...), so i was thinking until i get that fixed up ill just drive without it...
is that a bad idea...

Yep, as long as the rack is lubricated it will be fine. I drove my MA61 for about 2 years like that, and apart from veins popping out of my forehead when parking, I had no problems.
