MA70 Power Steering High Pressure Hose Assembly Sun, 01 August 2004 09:35 Go to next message
Hi Guys,

I'm in need of a High Pressure hose for my Supra as the underside of it is turning a slight shade of red from the excessive loss of fluid. Does anybody have a spare one or possibly know how much one will cost from Toyota. (I'm not overly excited to find out the price for a genuine$$$)

Thanks, Matt

more than likely about $70 from toyota. Probably worth it as most of the ones around are rooted anyway! Mine has gone stiff, but when it leaks it will be replaced with a genuine one Wink

Thanks, but I was under the understanding that you would have to get the whole assembly, metal piping and all rather than just replacing the flexible hose?

Thanks again, Matt

no mate, just the hose..go to repco as well and ask them!

All that line is for is to go to the useless rod they claim being a cooler!

I've asked Repco and another local Auto Spares place without being specific to the entire hose/pipe ass'y and they could do nothing to help me. I'll keep that in mind though.
Trust the one day in my life I wanna call Toyota for spares and there's a mechanics picinic holiday today. Meh...

Thanks for your help, Matt

I had to get my Power steering line custom made from Enzed using the metal end connections from my original toyota hose. Cost me $100.

I did this becuase toyota wanted around $440 for that complete power steering hose, but if it ends up costing you $70 let me know as i want the original hose back in there.

Shall do. I had a look at the parts break up that V8 MA61 led me to and the part number only corresponds to the whole assembly. I'll call them to day and see what they can do though.
