does anyone know who can import 20v or gze corolla's into aus now? from what i have gathered the 20v and gze is now eligible but i haven't seen 1 on the road yet and i havent seen any advertising's of it. roughly how much would they be on the road and complianced?

I'd be interested in finding out about this as well.. The AE101
looks sweet as a 2 door with those 20 valve stickers down the
door. Wink

Cost would prolly be prohibitive though i reckon.. would more
than likely be more cost-effective to do a 20V conversion in my
existing car..

yeah i wouldnt mind that too however im kind of sick of the rust and small prob's creeping up on my rolla, plus a newie would be more reliable. rough guess of cost so far are between $15g-$20g but this needs 2 be comfirmed.

i have a magazine i think it was High performance imports

they had a feature on the 20v levin and also the chaser

I think they said u can import both now..the chaser was still being tested or soemthing tho

but hey, that's like two issues ago i think

when i find the magazine i'll post more up about it unless someone beats me to it

The Levin, Trueno and Chaser are allowed to be imported according to the DOT web site. According to what it had, they were all approved.

I think Geoff has a link on his site or a pdf file that you can download which shows which vehicles can be imported. If not let me know as I have the document somewhere
