I am in brisbane and am after someone to do an engine conversion for me. i have an ra28 with an 18r engine and want a 1G-GTE in it. Does anyone no of a car shop/person who would do his.

ballpark cost figure for either a (eng + comp + loom + 5sd man box)? and/or half cut with that in it?

frontcut = 2000-2500

I was just at ABS Break place in sumner park, western brissy and they had an ra28 that they had just done an engine transplant on.

I dont know costs etc as I was there cause my brakes had just stopped working on the way home!!! (collapsed rear right wheel cyclinder).

The guy that came out and gave me a hand was very helfpul.
