AE86 - No front swaybar connected coz i'm lazy

Hello..
Just wondering if anyone here is driving around with out a front swaybar connected. I have ordered adjustable front links for em, but am just plain lazy and cant be bothered putting em in - i'm thinking that i might have to height adjust the car without the bars in first (significant amount of preload).
Anyone driving around without a front bar (i know Bill S isnt) ? And if so... how does it feel ? - if its anything like condom free motoring.. i'm going swaybar free as well.
Thanks
James

Hey james i used to have an R32 skyline and i pulled the front swaybar of and it understeered a heap load less with no real noticable downsides on the stock suspension.
this was just on the street, never did a b4 and after on the track.

Thanks Nathan.
I appreciate your input.
I'm working nights so as soon as i can free up some time, i'll go and pull out the front sway bar. I'm trying to get rid of some initial understeer and i'm hoping that this will do the trick. *fingers crossed*
Actually i think i'll just disconnect one link as front swaybar removal in an ae86 is a real hard !@$#!!!
Thanks!
James

Is the handling bad without it?

Handling will be severely compromised without a swaybar (I would have thought this would be quite obvious), and in some cases the car will be outright dangerous without one. I wouldn't recommend driving around like that.

Mine's pretty good actually. Little understeer and very controllable oversteer.

Nothing quite like conflicting opinions
It only takes a few minutes to pull the links out, so if in doubt, try both!

It probably depends on the rest of the suspension. For example if you have uber-stiff springs in front, the front end won't be too soggy. With stock suspension though... look out!

Never uses one in any FWD cars i had , just unloaded the inside wheel and added to less traction on a light FWD with hi power .
Always have driven all my cars without bars until there have settled . And been corner weighted , Then added bars equal to vehicle weights .

when my car was going I was driving around without a front swaybar. It handled like shit But I thought that was a given with a corona mega understeer even at slow speeds. It has monroe GT gas in the front, Koni yellows in the back and
king springs all round.
oh yeah and it has a lard arse 1jz in the front

My springs are a tiny (ah-hem) 390 lbs/in on the front and 280 lbs/in on the rear.
Ya think that MIGHT be it?
