Please can anyone give me the contact for a good Toyota mechanic that can do a valve adjustment on a 7m-ge motor that is in Sydney preferably, near the Northern beaches

what do you mean by valve adjustment??? theres not really any adjustment with shim over buckets.. you just need to check clearances and replace the shims to meet the specs where neccesary.

Sorry i should have made it a bit clearer, i`ve just bought it as a second car for the misus, and whoever owned it before me had the head done but one or two of the valves clearances are a little out (clattery when it`s hot), so what i need is a mechanic who can do the shim adjustment for me, i even may be able to get the bucket compression tool from a mate that works for Toyota, but even he said that they do`nt do it anymore it`s up to the head recon guys to get it right, in this case they were out with the clearances.
