why not take yours out & get it lightend, cheaper, got to take it out anyway to change it, i think it would be cheaper as well

from what i hear, it is definately not a good idea to have a factory flywheel lightened... apparently they are so designed witht he required mass to ensure their strength when in use. and considering the cost of obtaining a new lightweight flywheel, it's better than not having your feet attached to your legs if a lightened flywheel ever decides to let go.

downside is the price - they are $600 + gst for a chromolly flywheel, and around $450 for an alloy one.
