2tg Gaskets, 1972 ta22 boss kit, sa63 rwc tyres Wed, 04 August 2004 07:03 Go to next message
They are all long shots but im after:
Unused Inlet and exhaust manifold gaskets, and a head gasket for a 2tg motor.
A 1972 ta22 boss kit
And a set of 4 or 2 RWC tyres to fit 1984 celica factory alloys.

you can make up your own gaskets with gasket paper for the inlet you can pick up from supercheap, the exhaust gasket you can get from repco for about $12. dont buy a 2TG headgasket unless you really want to, $140 i got quoted from repco and supercheap, and assuming your 2TG has stock bore width, you can buy a 2T headgasket from repco, thatl set you back about $37 if i remember correctly.. all you need to do then is cut up a bit for the front timing cover and your set! works a treat im very happy with mine..

cheers.

well sorta but there isnt much difference between the 2T and 2TG head gaskets apart from the front timing cover, so yeah if you want go for the 2tg one thats fine, i guess it saves you some time making up an extra gasket for the front..

cheers.

2TG head gasket on it's own is $45 from Toyota (or there abouts)

Exhaust gasket is (ACL) Part number JA 053 - available from any parts store (this is the intake and exhaust to suit 3TC - but exhaust is the same).

I think that I have an intake manifold gasket to suit at home - but I recommend trying genuine - the price is probably O.K.

the boss kit indicator disengager are the prongs on the bottom of the boss kit that disengages the indicator after turning. i don't see the need to post pics of a boss kit but if its necessary...
