While we're on the subject of 2S-C motors, can anyone tell me if they are an interference style setup, or not? I'd like to know if I can expect bent valves and all the other associated dramas that come from a broken timing belt in this type of motor? Clint [Report message to a moderator]

just reading from the book here it says when checking timing belt check the values as damage could of accured [Report message to a moderator]

All Toyota engines with timing belts are non-interference. [Report message to a moderator]
