How fast can you access these forums?

I notice that the toymods forums take a really time to load compared to other forums and other websites in general. Does anyone else have this problem?

it use to be fast for me
but with the limit of 28k on the cable modem with going over the 3 gig limit, this forum is really slow to access with those pics up the top.

Anyhow. The fact remains. Toymods loads aboot 50 times slower than anything else on the net for me. Maybe I should sell a car to pay for adsl, or perhaps not.

Yeah it's weird most people say quicker but a few say slower, I don't think it's the server cause it's generating the pages pretty quickly now with the current version.
You can limit the number of posts per page in your Profile settings which should help load time for the bandwidth-challenged.

BTW there's a new version out so I'll be upgrading again soon - actually I was supposed to go to the latest version last time but it got stuck halfway, anyway the upgrade prob is fixed apparently in this new one so don't be surprised if the forums get turned upside down again

witha crappy lines in my area and a connection speed of 26.4 everythings super doper slow to me. whats the point of even having a 56k modem?

well its kinda still slower for me too... buut maybe the other forums i use are just overly fast.....
might also be the wierd work computers?

The forums are pretty quick for me, but I'm on cable. They are a bit slow sometimes, but it's more likely my computer that's the cause - Celeron 466.

at work it is ballistic! very impressive page loading speed.
At home it's quite normal...but at peak times is a bit slow, along with everything else though.
