I found this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&a mp;a mp;category=30861&item=2481739711&rd=1& ;amp ;ssPageName=WDVW on ebay.

I want a longer boss/boss extension for my ae86 as the steering wheel is too close to the dash at the moment. Has anyone used these quick release things before? I like the idea of being able to remove my wheel while the car is parked at work, but I am concerned about the safety of the thing.

What are peoples thoughts? Has anyone seen or used simular products?

I'd check with the seller to see if they're ADR compliant... I doubt they are though.

lol we sell them and use them and there isnt a chance in hell they will ever be legal on the stree. three reasons! you can take the wheel of when your driving and they have freeplay in them even when new and they wear!yes even the hex ones.
lol and wear would you put your wheel when its of? back pocket! it would be a great anti theft device but they are to dangerous for in experianced people on the street.
mickp.s as an after thought! imagine you have an accident and someone is killed it might not be your fualt but it will be if you have a quick release!
