after struggling for so long, I found this website.. I live in Canada and recently bought an imported 20V... needs to be totally rebuilt...
Its been a couple of days and I've found out somethings for myself but hope you all could clarify some more for me...
Water pump - GTS redtop motor waterpump looks the same and gaskets match up, i think this is it?
main bearings - also GTS redtop motors standard
conrod bearings - also GTS redtop motors bearings standard size
rings - from 7AFE, the 4AGE ones just don't meet the width's of the ones we removed, and the 7AGE ones do... any suggestions? is this right?
Con rod bolts - how high rpm can 20V bottom end take? i know redtops die at 9500 from bolt failure so I'm gonna get tehse jsut to be on the safe side http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part= ARP-203-6001&N=120%20300102
shims for buckets up top - help! (totally shot, this motor looks like it has a million miles on it!)
anything else I should change whiles im down there? oh and btw lookin for 140whp... im going to be using a megasquirt to control this and we'll be porting out the exhaust and just cleaning up the intake side.... any other suggestions?

headgasket is almost the same - but different.
small port water pump is very similar but will require cutting plastic cover to use it
rings same as some small ports
bearings - same as 7 rib block
shims - similar to some motorbikes
all parts are still availabe from toyota

actually, it looks like head gaskets aren't the same... the 16V one messes up the reverse flow of the 20V... this is just what I've guess cos I haven't seen the 16V gasket to see if its the same, just a bet...
um rings same as some small ports? are you certain???

there are 2 types of "100kw" pistons - one type uses the same rings as the 20v motor
