hey all, i have got a KE55 Corolla that i would like to put negative camber on the front end. As you all would know, the minute any hard cornering is involve, they suffer from understeering, BAD!!!
If anyone knows of an easy was to put some camber on the front end, let me know. All help would be great!!!

I have got my KE55 to handle very well. It corners like its on rails. It seams that the limiting factor is how tightly I can hold onto the steering wheel! I kid you not!
And this is without negative camber. I had negative camber before, and that is one of the good things to do. But I did many other things also, and as it happens my car currently has roughtly zero camber, and it still corners quite well. My specs:
325lb/in front coilover springs
22mm swaybar
all polyurathane bushes
2 degrees caster
Monroe GT shocks (short stroke, to suit ST162 Celica)
XT130 struts
Bridgestone Potenza RE711 tyres
195/60/14 tyres
14 x 6.5" wheels
strut brace
modifyed steering knuckles (don't do this at home)
I would say the most important things are the tyres, and the strut brace.
Previously, I got negative camber by lengthening the lower control arms by about 15mm each. I will have adjustable strut tops soon and am using standard control arms again.

you can have your struts bent at a suspension place for negative camber. you can add longer control arms, mitsubishi scorpion ones are 30mm longer than ke55 ones, but you'll need a custom bush made up to fit them. k-mac etc sell strut top adjustment kits but they're pretty pricey, or you can make your own pretty easily if you're handy with metal

Jonny 2TG what strut brace did you use, did you buy one that fitted the ke30 or did you make your own?

Jonny2tg, with the xt130 struts did you have to move the buttom coil plate??
I have seen articles on them going into a corolla but the bottom plate had to be relocated.

The strut brace I made myself, you can see it on my page in the engine bay pictures. It looks like a brand name part, because I took my time. I could be convinced to make another, maybe. But you will get almost the same result by drilling two holes in a broom stick and just bolting it to the strut tops. Or, get a long bit of metal pipe, flatten both ends in a vice, drill a hole in either end and bolt it down under the strut top nuts. Go and do this now, then test.
Yes, with the XT130 struts, I cut the spring mounts off and welded the KE30 corolla spring mount on. But I have coilovers now.
