Something like that. It's got a full replacement fibreglass wraparound rear bar too, looks so bad cause it's to throw-together. No part of the kit goes with anything else. I think the bonnet is a hornet scooop? Huge driving lamps, front bar, skirts, jellybean mags, wraparound rear bumper with reflectors and a fibreglass rear wing.

I know owner of that car and I can say that he didn't make that car to be serious. You know, that car has won some prices in car shows. He also has another Corolla(KE70) that is painted in the police car color scheme. It has instead of "police" text "pojat" written which means Boys. This guys lada is pink/brown and has plastic sled on bonnet as a scoop. Really cool I say . Good laugh every time...

If it's factory 2T, it's not KE70. There are a few TE71's out there but seem to be more coupe style than the notch-back sedan style. The liftback is TE72.
Jayem?

2d sedan is either KE70 or TE71(body looks identical), both are numerous in Finland. 4d Corollas are more rare. Most 4d's are diesel (CE70) and I have one of these. CE70 came with 1C and odd enough with W-series gearbox. In Finland we didnt get any AE71 or TE72 but TE71 coupe was imported. 3T didn't belong in the engine options and 2T-G is supposedly imported but no-one has never seen original 2T-G corolla in Finland.

So from world perspective then;
KE70 2 door sedan, 4 door sedan, 5 door wagon
TE71 2 door sedan, 2 door coupe, 4 door sedan too according to JP info.
TE72 was 3 door liftback. As for other Toyota examples the liftback got a new model code.
Was the TE71 sedan/coupe fitted with recirc. ball or rack and pinion steering there Jayem? (TE72 here gets recirc. ball but KE/AE71 (same body as your TE71 sedan) is R+P.)

I have seen 3 door wagon also. There are KE7* coupes too.

Friend of mine has 4 door TE71.

Recircular ball and if I remember correctly only the facelift modell of KE70 has R&P.

Noted, good to know. Thanks.
Interesting how there's something about the T motors in 70 series which seems to demand recirc. ball steering.
Anyone know why?

From what I've seen, the gearbox supports don't clear the rack.

If you're really keen on one it wouldn't be hard to build. Find one KE70 4 door and one KE70 2 door wagon. A bit of spot weld drilling and some Lego skills and your sorted.
